• Description: Provides a credit of $2 per kilowatt hour to participating customer’s PG&E bill for reducing their electricity use during Power Saver Rewards events. Power Saver Rewards events occur on select hot summer days between May 1 and October 31 from 4pm-9pm, when demand for electricity is high. Participating customers will be notified to reduce their energy use during Power Saver Rewards events the day before the event through email or text message. Participation is entirely voluntary and there are no penalties if customers do not reduce their energy use during a Power Saver Rewards event.
